Simon Paisley Day is an English actor with 30 years’ experience in acting for stage and screen, appearing in a variety of over 50 films, TV shows and shorts. He has appeared in Academy Award and BAFTA nominated films such as Victoria and Abdul (2017), working alongside Judi Dench, as well as appearing in the recent Channel 4/HBO co-production Brexit: The Uncivil War (2019), as UKIP MP Douglas Carswell, working alongside Benedict Cumberbatch.
Simon has also recently appeared in Henry Fitzherbert’s Born a King (2019), a $20 million historical drama set in Arabia and the United Kingdom in 1919, following the true story of teenage Arabian Prince Faisal on a high stakes diplomatic mission in the UK.
Simon’s current projects include the latest instalment in the legendary Star Wars franchise; Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019). Star Wars will see Simon working with award-winning director J.J. Abrams as well as starring alongside Mark Hamill, Ian McDiarmid and Daisy Ridley.
